Amid the crisis, 32 tourists from Kolkata who were travelling in Nepal have reportedly gone missing. They were scheduled to cross the Nepal-Tibet border on Wednesday morning. The disappearance has caused severe concern among their family members in Kolkata. Taking the situation seriously, the West Bengal government has opened a helpline for residents of the state affected by the disaster.
